Hello Everyone,
I'm pleased to say that I now have my first 2 double "multi pocket layout" kits available online.
I love the idea of doing
my scrapbooking quickly and being able to fit more photos on a layout. It’s
always tricky for me to get the right balance. So when project life came along
I was intrigued, I had a bit of a look at the whole concept but decided that it
was not for me. But once Graphic 45 started including pieces on their papers
the right size for multi pocked pages, I decided to have a go. I tried keeping
it simple but it didn’t work for me. I need to do my multi pocket pieces with
lots of layers and fussy cutting along with lots of little bits and
pieces. I am really enjoying it...
As soon as I saw Graphic
45’s Gilded Lily collection, I fell in love with it. It’s so pretty and dainty and
I have used it for so many projects. It is so perfect for my daughters
weddings. I decided to use it for Leah’s wedding and do it as a multi pocket
styled layout.
I love doing fussy cutting
and layering so this collection is perfect for me.
I cut out lots of the
images, some I used as frames and others I just added to my cards with foam
tape. I matted my photos, added some of my favourite quotes and some
beautiful letter stickers. Some
chipboard corners from Imaginarium Designs, ribbons, metal charms and brads all
add to the prettiness of this layout. I am sure Leah and Stewart will love this
keepsake of their very special day.
When Graphic 45 sends me a
Halloween themed collection, I always get excited. Not because of the Halloween
theme, (we don’t really do Halloween in our family so I don’t have any
Halloween theme photos), but because of all the wonderful images
and colours Graphic 45 always uses.
Once I saw the Rare
Oddities Collection, I knew exactly which set of photos I wanted to use. Josh
visited “Ripley’s believe it or not” in
San Francisco a few years ago and I took a stack of photos. I just started my
cards by cutting out lots of the images and words from all the wonderful papers
in this collection. I sorted out my photos and matted them. Then I just layered
papers on top of papers, added photos, ribbons, cork chevrons and brads. I
still need to add my personal journaling to finish my cards which I will do
when I put my layouts into my album.
To purchase these kits or for more information please visit the website of Seriously Scrapbooking. We will be adding more kits as soon as they are ready.
Thank you for reading...
