The Couture Book is here! and the Craft Cruise is now available.

Hello everyone.
 I have a lot to tell you all so lets start with the Couture book. As some of you may have seen it was published in the new year issue of Scrapbooking Memories.

I made my Couture book last year after discovering the witty quotes of Mae West, which many of my ladies along with my self can relate to. If I may say so myself it is quite a book. I taught it as a class last year and many women who have seen it since have been asking to make it so I am finally putting kits together for anyone who can't do a class with me. I have always loved Graphic 45 papers as you all know! The papers really lend themselves to projects like this and the Couture range is one of the best with so many beautiful images for me to use and such attractive colours.

 
My couture book consists of  a lovely chipboard laden cover, two pop down pages on the inside of the front and back covers, two single pages and four beautiful double pages. The Couture collection showcases style and fashion which lends itself to feminine pages with an overall classy feeling. No book would be complete with out flaps and pockets so there are plenty providing lots of photo space with a selection of witty Mae West quotes to finish off the project.

The instructions are almost complete and kits should be ready soon. The Graphic 45 Christmas book in my last post is going well with many happy ladies who are enjoying the project, there are still kits available for those who are still thinking about making it.

Next up is the "By The Sea Book & Box" part one of which was also published in the new year issue of Scrapbooking Memories. Part two will be published in their next issue and hopefully kits will be available then.

Now for the really big news that lots of you have been asking me about.

2016 South Pacific Craft Cruise
The cruise I have been talking about for so long has finally opened for bookings. A company called Celebrity Cruises has decided to provide a variety of  craft activities aboard alongside the many other attractions. For those of you who are not aware, I am privileged to be one of the teachers aboard the Celebrity Solstice (pictured above) for their 8 night South Pacific Cruise in April 2016.

I am including a handful of photos of the ship in this post all of which I borrowed from the  Celebrity Cruises website. This ship seems to have everything and there are plenty more photos on their website to "ooh and ahh" over so take a look.

 Please be aware that to participate in the craft activities you need to book through the Needlework Cruises Website as they are the company arranging my classes. They have a detailed website showing all the information about the crafts being taught on board which can be viewed by clicking this link. Follow the link and choose the 2016 Patchwork, Quilting and Paper Crafts Cruise (not the 2016 Embroidery and Craft Cruise). Unfortunately my projects are a little hard to see in the close up photos they have provided so I have included photos here as well.
 I will be teaching several projects. The first is a pocket style album with a beautiful box to store it in. It is holiday/travel themed so you can make the project on the cruise then quickly and easily slip in all your cruise photos at home when they are printed. Fortunately with Imaginarium Designs at my disposal I am able to create some wonderful things, the box for this project for instance. I have made this box many times for many of my books and it just adds the finishing touch.

My second and third projects are layouts to a tropical holiday theme well suited to a South Pacific Cruise. They are made using a similar concept and papers but one has a slightly feminine twist and the other would better suit a male photograph. Here is a sneak peak:















My fourth and fifth projects again are similar. I have for a few years now been selling patchwork pieces kits online and the concept was so popular I have created two sets for the cruise.
One is in shabby tones of white and pink (the set shown right is not the exact set to be made, the set on board will be similar) and the other is a travel themed set. Patchwork pieces as they are called are a set of mini squares each with charms, flowers, chipboard and other pieces which when put together in a frame, (included on the cruise) with photos scattered between, looks extremely effective.
 So I hope to hear that some of you have booked in, I know a few of you have just been itching to join me, and now you can. I look forwards to seeing some of you on board.
