Here is my Layout for the May Arts and Graphic 45 Blog hop. I was too late in sending it to Graphic 45 to be included in the hop and I am so sorry for letting them down.
I receive a lovely bag of May Art ribbons to play with and decided to use them on a layout along with Graphic 45's new Paper Range " A Ladies Diary". The May Arts Lace was not quite the shade of pink I needed. So I dyed it using Tim Holtz's Distress reinkers.
I found that 3/4 of a cup of hot water and two full eye droppers of ink gave me the perfect shade.
I adhered the lace over the top of some lovely gold ribbon I had received and layed them on my layout over lapping them to give me a criss cross effect. I added some of the lovely "A Ladies Diary"stickers. A soft silk bow using more of May Arts ribbons finished my page.I love the soft shades of colours in the "A ladies Diary" collection and the May Art ribbons were a perfect match.
thanks for looking.
