A Dream is a wish your Heart Makes

Hello Everyone
Graphic 45 have one of my layouts on their blog today.
My daughter Kate got married last year and out of all the wedding photo's taken, this is my favourite.
So I wanted a very special layout for this beautiful photo.
I decided to limit my colours to only two-black and cream. The layout worked out so well, that I taught it at Seriously Scrapbooking and they will be selling it in a kit for me on their website.
I would like to share with you, just how the layout  all came together.
If you follow my blog or just like my work, you will know that I like to mix my Graphic 45 Collections and this layout is a perfect example of this.
For the foundation of my page, I used a print from the "Couture" collection, called Style. The background is black with cream dress pattern outlines on it. I added a cream mat to my second Graphic 45 print from "Raining Cats & Dogs" called Pitter-Patter. It has a black background and really lovely umbrellas and rain splashes in cream. Then I added some black mats along with some cream mats to break it up. The next layer of paper is from Raining Cats & Dogs, called Playful Pals. It is a black background with cream spots.
The last two papers are favourite of mine. The print I used for the photo mat is from "Couture" and is called Style, I used it as my foundation, but for the photo mat I turned it over and used the other side. Be careful when you use it as it plays havoc with your eyes!
For the title background print I used one from "Halloween in Wonderland" called Jabberwocky.
Imaginarium Designs had the perfect title for my layout
A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes and it really fits the photo of Kate and Johnny.
I had found a lovely large key at Seriously Scrapbooking and layered it on top of a few paper flowers from Green Tara. Some ribbons and photo corners were all I needed to add to finish my page.
Well it is getting late here in Australia and I am teaching Graphic 45 cards tomorrow, if I get time later in the afternoon I may add some more to my post. If not then please enjoy.
Hugs
Jane
